My page is not displaying correctly
If you are receiving a page cannot be displayed message, try reloading the page to bypass the cache.
To reload a page and bypass the cache:
- Hold the Ctrl key, and press F5, or
- Hold the Ctrl key, and select the Refresh button on the toolbar.
If that doesn't work you may need to completely clear your cache/temporary internet files.
Here are the steps for several commonly used browsers and versions. To get started select the browser you're using.
Internet Explorer (IE)
To find which version of Internet Explorer you are using click Help and then choose About Internet Explorer.
Tip | If you don't see the Help menu, press the Alt key on your keyboard to show the menus.
Internet Explorer 8.x
- Click the Tools menu.
If you don't see the menu, press Alt button on your keyboard to show the menus. - Select Delete Browsing History.
- Select the checkbox for Temporary Internet Files.
- Click the Delete button.
- Once the files have been deleted, click OK.
Note | It can take several minutes for the cache history to be deleted.
Internet Explorer 7.x
- Click the Tools menu.
If you don't see the menu, press Alt button on your keyboard to show the menus. - Select Delete Browsing History.
- Click the Delete files button.
- Click the Yes button in the confirmation window.
- Click the Close button.
Note | It can take several minutes for the cache history to be deleted.
Firefox
To find the version, in Firefox:
- On Windows - click Help and then click About Mozilla Firefox.
- On Mac OS X - click Firefox and then click About Mozilla Firefox.
Firefox 3.5.x for Windows
- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Clear Recent History.
- Under Time Range to Clear select Everything.
- Select the Details checkbox.
- Select the Cache checkbox.
- Click the Clear Now button.
Firefox 3.x for Windows
- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Clear Private Data.
- Select the Cache checkbox.
- Click the Clear Private Data Now button.
Firefox 3.x and 3.5.x for Mac OS X
- Click the Firefox menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Advanced.
- Click the Network tab.
- In the Offline Storage section click Clear Now.
- Click the OK button.
Safari
To find the version, in Safari:
- On Mac OS X click Safari, and then click About Safari.
- On Windows click Help and then click About Safari.
Safari 4.x for Windows
- Click on Tools (the gear icon in the toolbar)
- Select Reset Safari
- Select Empty cache
- Click Reset.
Finally exit and relaunch the browser.
Safari 4.x for Mac OS X
- Click on Safari in the toolbar
- Select Reset Safari
- Select Empty Cache
- Click Reset.
Finally exit and relaunch the browser.
Google Chrome
To find the version, in Opera:
- On Windows click Help and then click About Opera.
- On Mac OS X click Opera and then click About Opera.
Windows and Linux instructions
- Click the wrench icon in the browser toolbar
- Select Tools
- Select Clear browsing data.
- Select the checkbox for 'Empty the cache'.
- Select Everything in the 'Clear data from this period' selectbox.
- Click Clear browsing data.
Mac instructions
- Select Chrome > Clear Browsing Data on the menu bar.
- Select the checkbox for 'Empty the cache'.
- Select Everything in the 'Clear data from this period' selectbox.
- Click Clear browsing data.
