Changes to the Plant Variety Rights (PVR) Journal Information

With the release of the case management facility for plant variety rights in December 2012, the Intellectual Property Office of NZ (IPONZ) is making the following changes to the plant variety rights journal.

• From January 2013 the PVR’s case specific information is now completely available online.
• The online PVR Journal is now also searchable. Search now or read more on how to search the Journal.
• The PVR Journal publication date has been changed from the 14th of each quarter to the 1st working day of each quarter. This means the PVR Journal Publication dates for the next two journal will be:
  • 3 January 2013 and is now available.
  • 1 April 2013.

Journal No. 132 published 3 January 2013 covers events from October to December 2012 and includes events that have occurred from 8 December 2012 in the new case management facility. Events on or after this date are published in the online section. For this publication period the online events have also been included in the PDF journal document. Future journals will only have the General Information section published as a PDF, all information about applications and grants will be solely online.
