Celebrating the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys Inc’s centenary

In partnership with the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys Inc, IPONZ is inviting you to help us celebrate the institute’s centenary.

The Institute is running a series of seminars throughout the country which are co-sponsored by IPONZ. Melissa Clark-Reynolds will be talking about the development and management of her company’s IP at the Wellington event on Thursday 16th August 2012.

Topic:

“Monkeying around at MiniMonos: Where is the value – the Tech or the Content?”
MiniMonos is an ethical children's brand that developed a virtual world for children which had over one million registered users within a year of its UK launch, and is still growing. MiniMonos has been developing comics for Toxic magazine (the best-read boy's magazine in the UK), and has recently signed a licensing agreement with a UK publisher. The company partners with a number of NGOs and companies, and is planning a range of ethical (slavery free, fair trade, environmentally responsible) toys to be launched in 2013.
