Changes to direct debit arrangements
13 February 2012
With the release of the new case management system for Trade marks and Designs the Intellectual Property Office of NZ (IPONZ) is making changes to the types of payments methods it will accept for Trade marks and Designs.
From the 13th of Feb 2012 the office will no longer accept Direct Debit as a method of payment for Trade mark and Design transactions received via paper, email or fax. You will of course be able to use direct debit as a payment method for Trade marks and Designs when performing these transactions online.
This change will not affect the direct debit arrangements in place for Plant Variety Rights, PCT International or Patents.
