Changes to New Zealand's Goods & Services Tax (GST) rate

On the 1st of October 2010, New Zealand’s GST rate will rise from 12.5% to 15%.
 

How does this affect you?

  • Filings made before 1 October 2010, will be charged 12.5% GST.
  • Filings made on or after 1 October 2010, will be charged 15% GST.
