Weekly enhancements to IPONZ’s new case management system

Enhancements to IPONZ’s case management system for designs and trade marks effective 30 May are as follows:

Enhancement to history item visibility

Some history items such as renewals and assignments will now be publicly viewable as soon as they are created. You no longer need to wait for the next Journal Publication to view these changes.

History items that relate specifically to the opposition process (eg. trade mark acceptance) will still need to be published in the Journal before they become publicly viewable.

Increase to the trade mark Request Convention Priority Claim field character limit 

The trade mark convention claim field will now allow an unlimited number of characters. This will ensure that it can accept all the goods and/or services in a convention claim.
