Enhancements to Goods and Services Classification Tool

Following on from the successful launch of our preapproved Goods and Services description tool for Trade mark and Search / Preliminary Advice Applications in May 2011 we have now released an updated version of our standalone Goods and Services Classification Tool

Key features of this release include:

1. Ability to build a specification using pre approved terms and add further custom terms;
2. Functionality to allow a user to cut and paste a specification into the tool and validate the terms against the IPONZ preapproved terms list;
3. Print option which will distinguish preapproved and custom terms for further consideration;
4. Reformatting logic to ensure specifications meet IPONZ standards regarding start/end of specification;
5. A new layout and navigation to make it simpler to move between screens and complete applications;
