Enhancements to online filing

In response to client feedback IPONZ implemented the following changes to enhance the online application service:
 

1. Trade mark pre-approved list made easy

To make it easier for you to select terms that you are searching for, your exact matches will now appear at the top of the results. You can also filter your results by class using the class selectors at the top of the results list.

2. Entering applicant details

Now when you enter the applicant Name for a patent, design or trade mark application the system will automatically search for that applicant in the system and return all the possible matches. Once a match is selected the system will automatically populate the address fields on the application form for you.

Changes have also been made to all application forms to include a separate post code field to assist with NZ Post mail requirements.
