Filing receipts and confirmation copies of documents

From 17 May 2010 IPONZ will change its practices for filing receipts and confirmation copies of documents.

Filing receipts

Filing receipts issued as a means of confirming receipt for documents sent to IPONZ will only be issued for documents filed through our online correspondence service.

Confirmation copies

Paper confirmation copies of documents sent to follow up a document filed online, by email or fax will be returned to the sender. This is aimed to reduce the volume of duplicate documents on record.
