PVR Technical Note – Definition of Endophyte Free Seed
14 October 2011
In October 2010 a requirement that “all seed submitted for use in the grass DUS centralised trialling must be endophyte free” was introduced. Endophyte free was defined as having a level of endophyte present in the seed sample of less than two percent.
This definition of “endophyte free” has been amended to be defined as having a level of endophyte present in the seed sample of less than five percent.
For more information on this requirement please see the technical note.
