Recent changes to our online services

In response to client feedback we have implemented the following changes to enhance our searching, application and correspondence services.
 

1. Extra navigation to related patents, trade marks or designs

You can now navigate to related patents, trade marks or designs by selecting the new links that have been added to the Related IP section of the search results page. When you select the link a new window will open with the patent, trade mark or design details.

2. Trade Mark application and Search & Preliminary Advice services –

We have updated our Trade mark Application and Search & Preliminary Advice Application services to include a check to make sure you have uploaded the right type of file for your application. We have also updated the range of acceptable file formats. The following table provides an overview of the new file checks and acceptable file format types for applications.

We have also expanded the range of acceptable file formats for our online correspondence service so that Word 2007, audio and movie files are now accepted.
