Search and/or Preliminary Advice service available online only effective from 7 March 2011

The Commissioner of Trade Marks hereby advises that, from 7 March 2011, IPONZ will only accept requests for search and/or preliminary advice via the IPONZ online facilities available at www.iponz.govt.nz/online-services.
From 7 March 2011, requests for search and/or preliminary advice submitted to IPONZ in paper form at the filing office of the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand, Ministry of Economic Development situated at 205 Victoria Street, Wellington, will not be accepted. Such requests made via paper, email or fax format will be returned immediately to the applicant, or the applicant’s agent, without acknowledgement of receipt.
