Trade Mark Practice Guidelines - Extension of Time Requests

Trade mark extension of time requests have been reviewed with recent case law developments taken into account. As a result of that IPONZ is introducing a new guideline - no. 25 Extension of Time Requests. This guideline covers what to expect when requesting an extension of time.

Please note the guidelines do not constrain the judgement and discretion of the Commissioner of Trade Marks, and each extension of time request will be considered on its own merits.
