3.1 Convention countries
Up one levelSection 5(1) of the Act defines a convention country as “an entity for the time being declared by an order under section 200 to be a convention country for the purposes of that provision”.
The current Order in Council came into effect on 7 December 2000 and recognised the European Community as a convention country for the purposes of convention claims.
