7. Intervention by a third party (Regulation 30)

The third party must apply to intervene by filing with the Commissioner a notice that contains the following information:

  • The third party’s name and address for service;
  • If the third party has an agent, the agent’s name;
  • The nature of the application to which the claim for intervention relates;
  • A description or representation (including the number or numbers) of the trade mark or marks to which the claim for intervention relates;
  • A statement describing the third party’s interest in the proceeding.
