  • What IP is all about – creativity, innovation and enterprise
  • How to respect and value creative work
  • Where to seek information
  • Who to ask to get permission or consent to use others’ creative work.

Creative Directions is a user-friendly online IP education tool combining practical information, classroom ready material, contacts and external links for you and your students to explore. The kit covers everything from performers’ rights through to licensing schemes for New Zealand Schools. There are tips to encourage entrepreneurial attitudes and for avoiding potential legal hassles, and a media guide to help you source material and provide direction for students producing original and adapted creative work.
