End of Daylight Saving Time reminder

End of Daylight Saving Time reminder

Daylight Saving Time (NZDT) ends on the first Sunday of April in New Zealand. Clocks will be set back one hour on Sunday, 3 April 2016 when 3:00am becomes 2:00am.

Our website and online case management facility at www.iponz.govt.nz will remain available throughout this period.

New Zealand Standard Time will apply to all applications filed or changed on or after 3.00am on 3 April 2016. As tasks due on a Sunday do not abandon until the end of Monday, and applications submitted with us on Sunday will receive Monday as the filing date, we do not anticipate any issues for clients as a result of this time change.
