Have your say on patents and trade mark fees paid to IPONZ

IPONZ is currently seeking feedback on several change proposals identified as part of a recent fees review.

IPONZ has recently carried out a routine review of our fees to support a more consistent and transparent approach to cost-recovery across the range of services that we provide.

The review identified a number of areas where changes could be considered, so we are now seeking feedback on four fee change proposals outlined in a discussion document. Two of these relate to the patent fee structure and two relate to the trade mark fee structure.

We are consulting on the proposed changes from 25 June to 30 July 2018.

Anyone is welcome to make a submission via email to mail@iponz.govt.nz before 5pm on Monday 30 July 2018.

IPONZ has created a new web page to provide information about the consultation process and will continue to update this web page as new developments arise.

Details on the proposed fees and processes can also be found in the consultation documents on the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment website.
