Trans-Tasman patent attorney regime comes into force

The Patents (Trans-Tasman Patent Attorneys and Other Matters) Amendment Act comes into force today.

All New Zealand and Australian patent attorneys will now be registered under a joint registration regime.

A new Trans-Tasman Patent Attorney Register will replace the previous New Zealand Patent Attorneys Register. Visit the new Trans-Tasman Patent Attorney register.
