Bayerisches Bier Registered by treaty Other Beer Germany IP Number: 4106 Registered: 1 May 2024 The protection of the geographical indication "Bayerisches Bier" shall not prevent the continued and similar use by any person, including their successor or assignee, of the term "Bayerisches Bier" for a maximum period of five years after the date of entry into force of this Agreement, if that person has made commercial use of that term in a continuous manner since before the date of entry into force of this Agreement. Any such use of the term "Bayerisches Bier" after the date of entry into force of this Agreement must not mislead consumers as to the origin of the good.
